Best CBD Vape Juices Table
All scores are out of 10 and come from our detailed reviews which are all available on site.
CBD e-liquids have become increasingly popular because they offer a unique combination of convenience, value for money and fast effects. They also come in a variety of innovative flavours. The taste of a vape is different from that of oils or liquids; it is usually mild with no intensity or unpleasant aftertaste. This makes vaping ideal if you don’t like the flavour of CBD, most brands offer you a choice that often includes menthol or fruit.
To vape CBD you must have a vaporiser, but once you have one they are simple to use and can be easily kept in a pocket or small bag. You can then inhale the vapour whenever you like, which is straightforward compared to holding drops under your tongue or washing capsules down with water. It is also hard for anyone nearby to tell if you’re using CBD or standard vape liquid.
Vaping CBD is among the fastest methods to take effect, so it is often used by people who want quick relief from chronic pain flare-ups or anxiety attacks. Once you’ve inhaled, it’s likely to take about ten minutes to provide the result you want. It is also simple to alter the amount you consume by taking more or fewer puffs.
The act of vaping requires you to take a few minutes to focus on drawing in each breath of vapour. Sometimes this can add to the relaxing experience and give you a brief island of time to focus or ground your thoughts.
Finally, e-liquid can be customised in a way that some other CBD products can’t. Some brands allow you to buy vape additives, flavours and terpene blends that you can mix with your e-liquid directly in your vape tank. They allow you to add more CBD, change the taste and make it even more beneficial.
They come in a variety of flavours
They are fast-acting
Vaping is convenient and can be discreet
You can take more or fewer puffs depending on your needs
You can easily customise them with additives, terpenes and flavours.
They allow more CBD to access your bloodstream
You must purchase a vape
The effects don’t last as long as when ingested.
Vaping is one of the most bioavailable methods of taking CBD. Bioavailability is how much CBD is absorbed into your body and transported to your bloodstream. Different CBD products taken in a range of ways deliver varying amounts to your system at different speeds. For example:
Method of use
How long until it takes to effect?
How much reaches your bloodstream?
CBD oil dropped under your tongue
Swallowed and ingested
Up to 2 hours
10 – 20 minutes
Up to 56%
As you can see from this table, the quicker the CBD can access your bloodstream, the more your body can use. When CBD enters your lungs, it passes into the tiny sack-like alveoli. The sack structure allows the average lung to have a membrane surface area of about 75 square meters. This means that large amounts of CBD can cross directly into your lung’s blood supply, creating a quick, potent effect.
How to Use CBD E-liquid
How you take CBD e-liquid varies on the type of vape you’re using. The simplest form of e-liquid vaping is the pen vape or e-cigarette. They are slim, discreet and easy to use. Some have refillable tanks, but others come with single-use cartridges.
Cartridges are just screwed onto the battery, and then you can start vaping. Once the cartridge is empty, you will need to replace it with a new one.
If you prefer, you can choose larger vapes that you can customise to your preferences. The larger mod versions often hold more liquid at one time and have the facility to alter temperature and vapour settings.
However, despite these differences, most vapes can be used by following this simple procedure:
Connect the cartridge to your battery, or fill the tank and reattach the mouthpiece.
If the device has a power button, click it to turn it on. Some devices require 3 or 5 clicks and some turn on automatically when you inhale.
If necessary, hold down the button while inhaling, and start with small puffs.
Begin by taking one puff and wait for 4 to 5 minutes to see how it affects you.
Proceed slowly and increase the number of puffs over a few days.
How Much Will I Need?
How much e-liquid you will need depends on several factors, including your body mass, internal chemistry and health. A good amount to start with is two puffs of 3% vape juice twice a day for 3 to 7 days. After this, you can begin to decide if you need to increase the daily amount. A good rule of thumb is to ‘start low and go slow’.
If you top up your tank with the same oil, you can add it straight away, but if you’re changing between different types of e-liquid, it’s worth following the manufacturer’s instructions and cleaning the tank first.
Some vapes require you to replace parts like the coil or wick. If you notice that after a while it’s hard to draw the vapour through the mouthpiece, a component may need replacing, or you may just need to clean out the tank.
Herb Reviews Selection Criteria
To ensure that we only choose the best products for a recommendation, we apply strict selection criteria:
Certificates of Analysis
The CBD industry is still relatively unregulated, and some products have been found to contain contaminants or amounts of ingredients that don’t match the label. Certificates of analysis are detailed reports produced by third-party labs to verify the contents of a sample from each batch of CBD products. Industry organisations like CannaPro and the Cannabis Trades Association encourage brands to employ recognised labs to conduct analysis and make the results available for customers.
We only include products on our list with certificates that are readily available and show that the cannabinoid content matches the label. Some brands also include a breakdown of terpenes and a screening for contaminants. Products with detailed lab certificates and high-quality results are more likely to rank higher on our lists.
Certifications and Awards
Awards like organic certification or recognition by official bodies like the Vegan Society and Soil Association show that the products have met the required standards. This adds to the reputation of the company and increases the likelihood of top-quality authentic products.
When possible, we choose items that are certified organic and have other relevant memberships and awards. However, many companies claim things like ‘certified 100% vegan’ or ‘officially organic’. We never take these claims at face value and use certification numbers and logos to verify the accreditation with the awarding body. It is always a good idea to check that claims like this are genuine before making a purchase.
Full-spectrum or Broad-spectrum
Full-spectrum or broad-spectrum CBD e-liquids can be hard to find but are more beneficial than those made with CBD isolate. Each of these has there own meaning when looking at labels. Full-spectrum means that the product includes traces of all the cannabinoids found naturally in the hemp plant. Broad-spectrum products also have a complete range of cannabinoids, except for THC.
The presence of the other cannabinoids has been found to enhance the effect produced by the CBD significantly. The combined result is known as the entourage effect and makes full or broad-spectrum e-liquids more effective than those made with isolate.
Vape juice made with CBD isolate only contain CBD and are often cheaper than those with more cannabinoids. In some cases the method of production is more straightforward and costs less to complete, resulting in bargain-basement prices. However, as well as producing a less significant effect, some CBD isolate products can separate or recrystallise in the bottle. If this happens, place the closed container in some warm water for a couple of minutes. Then give it a shake, and the crystals should disappear.
There are very few high-quality, full-spectrum CBD e-liquids available in the UK so this list features some made with isolate. Those we’ve included are those we’ve used personally over a long period and can vouch for the quality and flavour.

1. CBD Ultra 10% CBD Vape Juice – Best Full Spectrum
CBD Ultra E-liquid
How good is it?
Made with a potent full-spectrum hemp extract, CBD Ultra’s 10% e-liquid range takes vaping to a new level. In each 10ml bottle, you get 1000mg of CBD in a choice of six flavours. CBD Ultra is a trusted UK brand based in Greater Manchester. They were one of the first to commit to transparent practices and detailed self-regulation by signing up to the Cannabis Trades Association in 2016.
Instead of using the standard fruit and menthol flavours, CBD Ultra have used precise terpene blends to recreate the experience of vaping popular cannabis strains. You can choose from OG Kush, Gelato, Watermelon OG, Pineapple Express, Lemon Haze and Blue Dream. They all provide mild, herbal flavours with subtle hints of citrus, fruit and candy.
Another thing that makes these e-liquids stand out from the rest is that they’re made with fractionated coconut oil and contains no propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerin (VG). Consequently, they can double up as oral drops as well as being vaped and inhaled.
CBD Ultra extracts a full-spectrum of cannabinoids from organically farmed EU hemp strains using supercritical CO2. Third-party lab tests are used to verify the cannabinoid content of every batch. This range is also free from common allergens, GMO, pesticides and is completely suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

These e-liquids are best when used with a ceramic coil.
This CBD vape Juice from Hempura is the best broad-spectrum e-liquid in the UK. I enjoyed its pleasant citrus taste and found that the clearly marked dropper made it exceptionally easy to load into my vape. In each bottle, you get 250mg of CBD in a broad-spectrum hemp extract. The extract is suspended in a 60%/40% blend of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine alongside an extra serving of terpenes.
Using Hempura’s vape juice significantly reduced my anxiety prior to events and appointments that would usually make me feel apprehensive. It also decreased the intensity of my regular tension headaches but wasn’t strong enough to get rid of them entirely.
Hempura uses hemp that’s been grown organically on EU regulation-compliant European farms. Once it’s harvested and dried, it’s carefully tested then imported to the UK. The third-party lab results are completed by British Cannabis and can be accessed via a comprehensive database on the Hempura website. You can use the batch number on the label to identify the certificate that refers directly to your batch. The results verify the amount of CBD but disappointingly don’t show traces of other cannabinoids.
e-liquid Information – CBD content: 250mg CBD per 10ml. Other strengths available: 100mg and 500mg.
Vitality CBD’s range of e-liquids is my favourite way to vape CBD isolate. Each 10ml bottle contains 125mg of CBD and comes in a range of flavours, including menthol, passionfruit-pear, elderflower-orange-lime and grape-blackcurrant-aniseed. The carrier is a 50/50 blend of vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). I enjoyed the subtle flavours, most of them tasted natural and had no hempy bitterness.
These e-liquids come in small, fine-tipped bottles with a child-safe cap. They were relatively potent and positively affected my anxiety and headaches. My anxiety levels were much better following a vape session and my headaches stopped completely. The only thing I didn’t find they improved was the quantity and quality of my sleep.
Vitality CBD uses CBD that’s been extracted from organically grown hemp using a blend of CO2 and solvent methods. They provide a full database of third-party lab results for every batch of their e-liquid. You can find yours by matching it to the number on the bottle label. The certificates show a profile of cannabinoids that verified the correct amount of CBD and detected no other cannabinoids, including THC.
Provacan CBD e-liquid is the best-unflavoured vape juice available in the UK. In one 10ml bottle, you get 600mg of CBD in a full-spectrum extract that’s been boosted with additional cannabinoids and terpenes. There are no additives or preservatives and the carrier is an 80/20 blend of vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). It also comes with a child-safe cap and a reasonably narrow tip.
I found this to be a fast-acting e-liquid with a pleasant grassy taste and an exceptionally smooth draw. Because no additional flavours are added to this is vape juice, you get the natural taste of the hemp extract. This is very mild but pleasantly herbal. After only a few puffs, I noticed a sense of relaxation. With several uses, I also experienced an improvement in my anxiety and a reduction in my tension headaches.
Provacan makes their e-liquid with hemp from small, organically certified European farms. Each batch is thoroughly tested in-house and then sent for third-party lab analysis. The lab results of their latest batch are available via a tab on each product page. Disappointingly, these are occasionally missing and aren’t available for previous batches. However, Provacan encourages customers to contact them to see a specific set of results. The certificates I viewed were conducted by Pharma Hemp Laboratories and verified that the e-liquid contains a variety of cannabinoids, including the advertised amount of CBD.
e-liquid Information – CBD content: 600mg CBD per 10ml. Other strengths available: 300mg and 30mg.
These e-liquids from Harmony come in twelve different flavours and are, by far, the tastiest I’ve ever had. I tried the Moroccan mint, Original Hemp and OG Kush. All three gave complex, natural flavours that were a real joy to use. If you like sweet artificial flavours these aren’t for you, but if you enjoy multi-layered natural vape juices, they’re ideal.
In each bottle, you get 100mg of CBD isolate suspended in 10ml of vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol carrier. The bottle is small, leakproof and comes with a child-safe cap and a fine tip. All three flavours produced potent results, including anxiety reduction and mood improvement. The OG Kush even helped to improve my sleep quality.
Harmony makes these e-liquids from hemp harvested on certified European farms. They’re extracted with supercritical CO2 and are tested extensively in a third-party lab. On the Harmony website, you can access a database of the lab results for every product batch. The result certificates are simple and only provide an analysis of cannabinoids.
e-liquid Information – CBD content: 100mg CBD per 10ml. Other strengths available: 30mg, 300mg and 600mg.
