For the last two weeks, my vape has been topped up with two different flavours of Cibdol 5% vape juice; strawberry and mint. They were sent on the 6th of September 2021 and reached me on the 13th, taking a total of 6 days to arrive. Both bottles were packed in cardboard presentation sleeves and placed in a flat brown card box along with the invoice and some bubble wrap.
The packaging looks clean and stylish which matches their tagline of ‘Swiss Purity’. Cibdol is one of a few CBD brands whose products wouldn’t look out of place on the shelves of a pharmacy. The e-liquid itself is a delicate pink colour and the label states ‘Over time this CBD vape juice can turn slightly pink. This is normal and does not affect the shelf life.’
Each bottle holds 10ml of e-liquid with 500mg (5%) of CBD. The Cibdol website says that they use full-spectrum extract, but they also say it’s ‘entirely free of THC’. ‘Full-spectrum’ is a term that refers to an extract with a complete range of cannabinoids, including THC. If it contains a range of cannabinoids but is THC-free it should be labelled as ‘broad-spectrum’.
The extract is suspended in a blend of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG) and food-grade flavouring. I couldn’t see any information about the ratio of VG to PG on the label or website but Cibdol contacted me and said, “Our e-liquids contain a high PG/VG ratio from 75/25 up to 90/10, which could feel a bit sharp and can cause throat hitting.”
Cibdol e-liquids come in 3 flavours, mint, strawberry and mango and in 3 strengths 5% (500mg), 10% (1000mg) and 15% (1500mg).
One 10ml bottle fills a 2ml tank five times to each containing 100mg of CBD. I always use 40mg of CBD per day to give a fair comparison. With this e-liquid, I aimed to use about two-fifths of a tank per day. At 40mg per day, the two bottles lasted about twelve days.

Who is Cibdol?
Cibdol was formed in 2017 as a collaboration of a small group of Swiss companies. They have produced a range of high-quality oils with a focus on purity and safety. This, combined with their attention to detail, resulted in the brand rocketing into the mainstream and customers worldwide enjoying ‘Swiss purity’.
By using only 100% natural, raw materials they try to limit their carbon footprint and tread lightly on the environment. Cibdol CBD is extracted using Supercritical CO2 methods and is then filtered for purity.
Their approach appears to be effective as they have many happy customers and an excellent rating from over 12,000 reviews on Trustpilot. There are lots of mentions of the high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
They also offer several other products, including CBD oils, capsules, cosmetics, creams and gummies.
The third-party lab results for these e-liquids can be found via a link on the product page of the Cibdol website. Currently, you can only access certificates for two of the latest batches. The batch number is clearly displayed on each bottle; mine was 1034 for both flavours. I prefer it when you can view a complete database of all previous certificates, however, this product may only have two batches to date.
The analysis was conducted by Brightlabs who is a Dutch company specialising in lab tests for active ingredients, fruits and vegetables. The certificate shows a detailed analysis of cannabinoids but no screening for contaminants or terpene profile. It would be useful to see more detail; some brands, like Endoca, include a complete breakdown of cannabinoids, terpenes and contaminants.
The results showed 5.6% CBD, 0.03% CBDV, 0.005% CBGa and no other cannabinoids. Because traces of two other cannabinoids were present and no THC was detected I was able to verify the claims of ‘THC-free’ and confirm that this is a broad-spectrum extract and not full-spectrum.
This e-liquid scored 8 out of 10 because the lab results verify the claim of THC-free and show that the e-liquid contains more than the advertised 5%CBD. I didn’t score any higher because the certificate only included a cannabinoid profile and there was no analysis of terpenes or contaminants.
Ease of Use
The bottles are lightweight, leakproof and have a slender tip that’s ideal for filling even the narrowest vape tank. They also come with a child-safe cap and are easy to close tightly for when you want to carry them in a pocket or bag. Other easy to use products with precise tips include Vsavi e-liquid and Harmony CBD vape juice.
Cibdol e-Liquid Taste
Mint: This is e-liquid has a standard menthol flavour. It’s not overly strong but it feels fresh as you inhale it through your mouth. Minty flavours are always my first choice when selecting a new vape juice; this one is a mild peppermint but more than strong enough to enjoy.
Strawberry: This one tastes like the slightly artificial strawberry flavour you often get in children’s sweets. There are no precise details on the label as to what ingredients are used to make the flavour but it doesn’t taste natural. It’s still enjoyable, given a choice I prefer those that have a hint of real strawberry.
The high ratio of PG to VG results in a catch in the throat which some may find off-putting. At first, I noticed this every time I inhaled but after a while, I completely forgot about it. If you prefer smooth e-liquids with a higher ratio of VG then this one probably isn’t for you.
Potency/ Effectiveness
This is a potent e-liquid that quickly gave me relief from anxiety, aching muscles and tension headaches. Almost from the first use, I noticed a sensation of calm and a reduction in the tension I feel around my head and neck. After a few days, I knew that I could reliably take a few puffs before any anxiety-provoking activity to reduce my symptoms. Most e-liquids I’ve tried in the past, like the one from Hempura, have reduced my feelings of anxiety but haven’t been able to completely remove my tension headaches, but Cibdol did.
Value for Money
A 10ml bottle of e-liquid containing 500mg CBD costs £27.99. This works out at about 5.6p per mg of CBD, which makes it comparatively cheaper than VSAVI at 9p per mg and Harmony at 7p per mg. However, Vitality CBD e-liquid and the CBD Asylum e-liquid are priced at 4p per mg and performed to a similarly high standard as this one.
These e-liquids offer excellent value. I found them to be very effective, well priced and relatively tasty.
Would I Buy Again?
Ideally, I’d prefer more detail in the lab results and a comprehensive database of all certificates, but the price and potency mean that I’d happily use this product again and recommend it to others. It was marginally beaten as best broad-spectrum oil, so it just missed out on appearing in our best CBD e-liquids review by 0.1 points.

The bottle has a child-proof cap and a narrow tapered tip for easy pouring. The liquid contains a broad-spectrum extract blended with a high ratio of PG to VG (between 75:25 and 90:10). Lab results are currently available for two batches and can be accessed via the product page. They quickly reduced my mild anxiety and completely removed my regular tension headaches.
