Harmony CBD E-liquid Review

Harmony is a fast-growing CBD company with offices in Barcelona, Paris, London and Lima. They produce popular ranges of skincare and oils but are mainly known for their e-liquids and stylish pod vapes. Their e-liquids are made with meticulous attention to detail and are either based on classic flavours or contain precise terpene blends designed to mimic specific cannabis strains.

I’ve just finished trying three different 10ml bottles of 100mg e-liquid; Original Hemp, OG Kush and Moroccan Mint. Each 10ml bottle contains CBD isolate suspended in an 80/20 blend of vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). This mix provides a thin, easy to pour liquid that holds the flavour well and may slightly catch in your throat as you inhale.

Harmony provides lots of information on their website and the product label; however, it’s spread about in different places. It would be more user friendly if all the useful details were gathered in one place. One thing they make clear on every page is that their target audience is existing smokers or vapers who might be looking to try something new.

One 10ml bottle could fill five 2ml tanks and provide 20mg of CBD each time. I usually aim for 40mg of CBD per day to effectively compare different brands. However, 4ml a day was too much, so instead, I chose to use only one 2ml tank per day; this gave me 20mg of CBD daily.

Who is Harmony?

Entrepreneur Antonin Cohen founded Harmony; he’s worked in the hemp industry since 2008 and in 2014 he led them to release their first CBD product. They pride themselves on their scientific approach that combines wellness with nature.

Aimed at customers with some experience of smoking or vaping, Harmony says that their products are “the perfect support for smokers looking to get into vaporization, or nicotine vapers looking to try CBD.”

All Harmony’s CBD products are made from high-quality hemp grown in certified farms within Europe. The cannabinoids are removed with state of the art supercritical CO2 extraction techniques. It’s then extensively tested to ensure purity, quality and safety.

3rd Party Lab Tests

Harmony E-Liquid Lab Report

Harmony provides a complete database of all their lab certificates allowing you to search for the results from the specific batch your product came from. The batch number for each e-liquid is on the bottle label; the numbers I had were:

The fact that two have the same number must mean that they were made using the same batch of isolate. Both certificates are straightforward and only show a profile of 16 cannabinoids; some brands provide a more detailed analysis and include a terpene profile and a screening for contaminants. The full results are:

OG Kush and Original Hemp

  • CBD = 101.9084%
  • CBDV = 0.1327%

Moroccan Mint

  • CBD = 97.6457%
  • CBDV = 0.3158%

In both batches, no THC has been detected and the only cannabinoids present are CBD and CBDV. A trace of CBDV often appears in isolate products so this does verify that it’s made with isolate. Strangely, the first certificate shows that the sample contained 101%, it is not unusual for lab testing to have some margin for error but I would have expected this batch to have been retested. Overall, the lab reports show me that the raw isolate has been tested for purity but the final product was not. That means I have no proof that the bottle contains the 100mg of isolate advertised by Harmony.

Ease of UseHarmony CBD E-Liquid OG Kush

The small 10ml bottles have a fine tip that’s ideal for filing up even the narrowest vape tank. You also get a child-safe lid to reassure you that your e-liquid won’t be interfered with by little hands and to prevent any leaks.

They’re so lightweight that you can chuck a bottle in your pocket and you’ll likely forget it’s there. The instructions on the box and bottle aren’t very detailed, but if you’re not sure how to use an e-liquid, there’s a helpful video on the product page.

Harmony CBD E-Liquid Taste

The flavours in Harmony’s e-liquids are hands down the best I’ve ever tasted:

Moroccan Mint:  This is the mintiest mint you’re likely to get. It’s not artificial or sweet and tastes as if you’ve just popped into your garden and grabbed a handful of fresh mint leaves. It’s herbal, minty and wipes the floor with any mint flavours I’ve tried before.

Original Hemp: Wonderfully, this hemp flavoured e-liquid reminds me of one of my favourite CBD oils from Bud and Tender. It’s aromatic and almost floral with no hempy bitterness. In a way, it has a slightly grassy sweetness that adds to the freshness of the flavour.

OG Kush: This is so impressively realistic you really could be vaping your favourite OG Kush dry herb. The blend of terpenes has created a complexly layered herbal flavour that you don’t get with most modern flavourings.

Potency/ Effectiveness

I found each of the three e-liquids I tried to be effective in several ways. I experienced an improvement in my tension headaches and I found that just a few puffs were enough to reduce any symptoms of anxiety and low mood. The OG Kush was the only one that seemed to improve my sleep quality, but that could be down to my brain’s previous associations with the flavour and the terpenes used in this particular e-liquid.

Value for Money

A 10ml bottle of Harmony’s 100mg e-liquid is £6.99, which works out at about 7p per mg. This is slightly more expensive than a similar product offered by Vitality but cheaper than those from VSAVI.

I found the bottles easy to use; each liquid produced beneficial results when used regularly and the quality of the flavours blew me away. These are not expensive and offer great value and an exceptional vaping experience.

Would I Buy Again?

I really liked the flavours and would buy them again for this reason. If you are looking for a CBD e-liquid that is purely about flavours this is currently my first choice. It appears in our best CBD e-liquids review as the best tasting option and is currently ranked number 5 overall.

Harmony CBD E-Liquid Review
Overall
Harmony’s e-liquids are easy to use, effective and offer excellent terpene based flavour. You can view the third-party lab results however these do not relate to the actual product and provide no value. I found them very effective for tension headaches, anxiety and low mood. The child-safe cap and narrow nozzle make them safe to carry and unlikely to leak.
