CBDistillery are a US CBD brand who sell their products worldwide. They offer a range of oils, capsules, gummies, topicals and e-liquids, all made from hemp grown in Colorado. Currently, they offer a choice between products made with CBD isolate and others made with broad-spectrum hemp extract. I’ve just been enjoying a bottle of their 25mg Isolate CBD Gummies.
These gummies are new to CBDistillery. In the lightweight plastic bottle, you get 30 jelly cubes coated in sugar. They provide a total of 750mg of CBD and come in four fruity flavours. The gummies are gelatine-free so are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. The jelly texture is created from a blend of tapioca syrup and pectin.
The directions on the bottle recommend that you take one cube, one or two times per day. With all CBD products, I aim to get as close as possible to a daily measure of 40mg so it’s easier to compare their effects. With these, I chose to take two per day, one in the morning and one in the evening; this gave me a daily amount of 50mg.

Who are CBDistillery?
Based in Colorado, CBDistillery was founded in 2016 by a small group of Colorado natives. They were enthusiastic about CBD and wanted to be able to make it more accessible to the world.
All the products offered by CBDistillery are made using hemp that’s been grown using natural methods on US farms. The manufacturing premises where the extraction and production take place meets the strict standards set out by the UK’s Good Manufacturing Practices. Additionally, CBDistillery has been rigorously audited and certified by the US Hemp Authority.
They’ve also achieved accreditation from Generally Recognised As Safe (GRA). To reach this standard, they have to submit detailed information about their ingredients and extraction methods. They’re so confident in the quality of their capsules that they offer a 60-day moneyback guarantee.
3rd Party Lab Tests
The third-party lab results are included as an image on the product page, but the more detailed version can be accessed via a link labelled ‘Lab Testing’ in the website footer. This takes you to a page where you can add the batch number of your product (mine was PB2010F236). Alternatively, you can scan the QR code on the packaging and it should take you straight to the correct certificate.
The certificates themselves are among the most comprehensive I’ve seen. They include a profile of eleven cannabinoids and screening for heavy metals, mycotoxins, pesticides, solvents, pathogens and microbes. The screening demonstrated that the sample was at safe levels for all contaminants tested and the cannabinoid analysis confirmed the presence of 948.45mg CBD and 3.25mg CBDV.
The 948.45mg was labelled on the certificate as the amount of total CBD. It was calculated from the 0.724% found in the sample and is considerably higher than the 750mg suggested on the bottle. It will be interesting to see future batch results to see if this is unique to one sample or common to the entire product range.
The full cannabinoid analysis showed:
CBC < 001%
CBD = 0.724% (948.45mg)
CBDa < 0.001%
CBDV = 0.002%
CBG < 0.001%
CBGa < 0.001%
CBN < 0.001%
THCa < 0.001%
Δ8-THC < 0.001%
Δ9-THC < 0.001%
THCV < 0.001%
Ease of Use
Gummies provide one of the tastiest and most convenient ways to take CBD and these are no exception. The bottle is lightweight and ideal for carrying with you in a small bag. It’s slightly too large to carry in a pocket, but if you’re like me, you’ll likely do most of your gummy scoffing close to home.
However, I also found that the narrow bottle opening meant that it’s tricky to choose a specific flavour. You can only tip them out and hope for the best. While this isn’t a big issue, I find wider squat shaped tubs to be much more convenient. I’d also like to have seen the inclusion of a child-safe cap, mainly as these gummies are very desirable to littluns.
CBDistillery CBD Gummies Taste
The flavour and texture of these gummies is excellent. The balance of chewy and soft is ideal and the sweet fruit flavours also have a slight tartness like that of a wine gum or fruit pastille. There’s no taste of hemp as you chew them, but I did notice a lingering aftertaste that was mildly bitter and slightly metallic. In each bottle, you get four different flavours; strawberry, raspberry, mango and ‘lemon and lime’.
During the two weeks I used them, I didn’t notice any significant long term effects and they didn’t seem to be particularly potent. However, they did offer some useful shorter-term effects. For example, taking one just before bed seemed to put me in a more relaxed state ready for sleep. I also experienced a slight reduction in anxiety and enhanced calm after taking them.
Value for Money
One bottle of CBDistillery’s gummies delivers 750mg of CBD, evenly shared between 30 delicious 25mg jelly cubes for £60. This works out at £2 per gummy and 8p per mg of CBD. This is a high price for an isolate product, but they still offer a significant saving compared to the identical 25mg gummies from Blessed CBD. They’re also considerably more expensive than the delicious Zen Bears.
Despite the cost, these still rank among the tastiest I’ve tried. Some brands struggle to balance the texture, taste and CBD content in gummies, but CBDistillery has definitely got it right. I was also impressed by the detail included in the third-party lab results and the fact that you can search for the certificate relevant to your specific batch.

These delicious gummy cubes come in four natural flavours and contain 25mg of CBD isolate each. The third-party lab certificates for each batch are accessible via the CBDistillery website and show a cannabinoid profile as well as the results of a detailed screening for contaminants. They’re suitable for vegans and the hemp is farmed in the US using natural practices. I experienced some useful short term effects, but they’re not the most potent I’ve tried.
